Over 740 Games Included In Itch.io Bundle, All Proceeds Go Toward Racial Justice

Indie game marketplace Itch.io is offering an enormous game bundle to help support racial justice, and it includes more than 740 projects for a very low price. The Bundle for Racial Justice and Equality packs in 743 games for $5, and Itch.io is aiming to raise $500,000 for the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund as well as the Community Bail Fund. Proceeds will be donated entirely to these two organizations on a 50/50 split.Some of the games included in the bundle are made by relatively unknown developers, but several others are acclaimed in their own right. Oxenfree from Night School Studio is featured, as is Night in the Woods. Other big-name games include Overland, Super Hexagon, and Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2!!.Thus far, the bundle has already raised more than $400,000 to support the charitable organizations, with more than 9 days left until the promotion ends. Over 560 creators offered their games for the project and they would normally cost a combined $3,400. Developers interested in adding their own games to the bundle can request inclusion using the Itch.io forums.GameSpot has officially kicked off Play For All–a celebration of all things gaming.
