Intel i3-10100 CPU Review vs. AMD Ryzen 3 3300X, 3100, & i7-7700K Benchmarks

Intel’s i3-10100 CPU is basically an old Intel i7 CPU, except way cheaper. Intel gets credit for that, but it doesn’t exist in a vacuum. Tests ft. i3-10100 with 2666MHz & standardized RAM vs. Ryzen.Sponsor: Buy EVGA’s RTX 2060 KO on EVGA store (https://geni.us/p8YW)Watch our previous content that goes deep on RAM frequency & timings vs. Intel CPUs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhXxC…In this video, we’re benchmarking and reviewing the Intel i3-10100 CPU versus the AMD Ryzen 3 3300X, 3100, 3600, the Intel i7-7700K, i5-10400, 10600K, and more. Most the modern CPUs are on there, with a few references back to previous launches. Intel’s i3-10100 CPU vs. 10300 & 10320 differences are mostly comprised of 100MHz gaps between the SKUs, with a 2MB cache difference jumping-out as well. We bought the i3-10100 for about $140, which puts it a bit above where AMD’s Ryzen 3 3300X is supposed to land, and significantly about where the R3 3100 is supposed to land (although stock of all 3 of these CPUs is still somewhat uncommon in the US market). Benchmarking includes a look at our standardized test kit of memory, used on all platforms, and additional tests of the i3-10100 on a B/H motherboard simulation using 2666MHz memory. For additional questions about this, you can see our piece linked above this paragraph, where we explored timings all the way down to CL10 2666MHz on the i5-10400, and all the way up to 4000MHz.Find our CPU testing methodology for 2020 over here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sg9Wg… Article version of CPU testing methodology: https://www.gamersnexus.net/guides/35…The best way to support our work is through our store: https://store.gamersnexus.net/Like our content? The realistic wildlife fine art paintings and prints of Jacquie Vaux begin with a deep appreciation of wildlife and the environment. Jacquie Vaux grew up in the Pacific Northwest, soon developed an appreciation for nature by observing the native wildlife of the area. Encouraged by her grandmother, she began painting the creatures she loves and has continued for the past four decades. Now a resident of Ft. Collins, CO she is an avid hiker, but always carries her camera, and is ready to capture a nature or wildlife image, to use as a reference for her fine art paintings.
